Seared Ahi Tuna is one of those special occasion restaurant-quality dishes that looks really impressive, but is a breeze to make any weeknight in your own kitchen. The meaty, tender fish pairs perfectly with the savory, pungent flavors of the sesame and ginger.

Ingredients
6 tablespoons Toasted Sesame Ginger
6 - 8 oz ahi sushi grade tuna steaks
1-2 tablespoons sesame or peanut oil (to cook at high heat)
Optional garnish- Tamari or soy sauce, pickled ginger, wasabi
Directions
1. Press 1 tablespoon of Toasted Sesame Ginger onto each steak, covering all sides.
2. Add oil to a screaming hot skillet. Sear tuna for 2 minutes on each side.
