Fried Feta with Chefs Grind Black Pepper

Crispy, gooey, briny, tangy and salty with a hint of sweetness and fiery pepper - yes please. This fried feta is a absolute stunner in both appearance and taste.

Ingredients
1 egg
1/3 cup panko
1 teaspoon Chef's Grind Black Pepper
1 - 10 to 12 ounce block feta cheese
3 tablespoons olive oil
1/4 cup honey
Directions
1. Arrange two shallow bowls (I prefer pie plates). In one bowl, lightly beat the egg. In the second bowl add the panko and Chef's Grind Black Pepper.
2. Arrange the feta on paper towels to soak up the brine.
3. Dip the feta into the egg, turning to coat. Then dredge into the panko, again turning to coat and pressing gently to adhere.
4. In a skillet over medium heat, add the olive oil. Once shimmering tip the pan to allow the oil to move to one side then carefully add the feta. Cook for 2 - 3 minutes per side or until golden brown.
5. Drizzle with honey. Serve warm with pita chips.
