Cheesecake Stuffed Strawberries
Intro
Ingredients
1 package (8 ounces) cream cheese, softened
1/3 cup powdered sugar
1 container (16 ounces) of strawberries, whole
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 tablespoon Apple Pie Spice
1/2 cup graham cracker crumbs
Directions
1. In a mixing bowl beat together the cream cheese, sugar, vanilla, and Apple Pie Spice until smooth and fluffy, set aside.
2. Use a paring knife or grapefruit spoon to hollow out the top of each strawberry to a depth of approximately 3/4 an inch.
3. Fill a pastry bag (or a zip top bag with the tip cut off) with the cream cheese mixture.
4. Pipe the cream cheese mixture into each strawberry until just slightly above the top. Place the strawberries on a large plate or platter as they are filled.
5. Add graham cracker crumbs to a plate or shallow bowl. Dip the top of each filled strawberry into the crumbs and place onto a serving platter or into mini cupcake liners.
6. Chill at least 1 hour, or overnight.
